data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><em>The Escouade Salubrit\u00e9 project, whose funding has been approved and renewed by the borough of C\u00f4te-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Gr\u00e2ce until March 2027, was created to support and accompany tenants struggling with insalubrious living conditions. This is done by helping them in their administrative and legal procedures.<\/em><\/h4><p>The intervention workers in the project meet with tenants both out in the neighborhood and in the \u0152IL-CDN office, where they work with tenants on writing formal demands, opening files at the Tribunal, or informing them of their rights.<\/p><p>It was also created in order to promote knowledge of tenants rights by reaching out to tenants with door-to-door work, offering educational workshops in different community centers, and organizing collective meetings with various tenants of a same building.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-65accb9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"65accb9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><strong>What are insalubrious conditions in an apartment?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4><p>The existence of insalubrious living conditions in the C\u00f4te-des-Neiges area is, unfortunately, a pervasive issue, due in part to the old age of many of the buildings whose construction dates back to the 1950s. Different aspects of insalubrious living conditions include :<\/p><ul><li>Cockroaches<\/li><li>Mice<\/li><li>Mold<\/li><li>Bedbugs<\/li><li>Water infiltration<\/li><li>Ants<\/li><\/ul><p>And many others&#8230;<\/p><h4><strong>What are the effects of living in insalubrious conditions?<\/strong><\/h4><p>The list of negative effects is a long one. There are effects on physical health including asthma, trouble sleeping, bronchitis, migraines, and skin rashes, as well as effects on mental health such as stress, anxiety, and depression.
